pRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Freerider-X is designed by our team to boost office worker's motivation towards exercise and sports. We believed that an easy-tangible entertaining device can lower the psychological resistance towards sports.
The subsystems
Our prototype is composed of 3 major subsystems. Which include the Joystick Handle, the Speedometer, and the Game.
how it works
1. Users pedal on their bike installed on a bike trainer that comes with our product.
2. The riding speed will be captured by the speedometer and transmitted to the computer.
3. Users can input movements and actions using our joystick controller mounted on the handlebars.
4. All inputted data will be transmitted to the computer and reflected as game actions in our unreal engine game.
